Frequently Asked Questions - Priority Points

WHY USE PRIORITY POINTS?

Priority Points seating programs are common in intercollegiate athletics. The UCF program will help generate important annual support, while ensuring a fair process for determining seat selection. The Priority Points System awards Priority Points based on a number of different criteria including loyalty, contributions, alumni status, among others. Beginning with the 2007 Football season, ticket holders will be required to make a minimum annual contribution to secure seating within the established priority areas.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY POINTS I HAVE?

Statements were mailed to each donor and season ticket holder in November 2006.

HOW CAN I GET MORE POINTS?

Because a portion of the Priority Points are awarded based on contribution levels, increasing your current donor level will result in a higher number of Priority Points awarded.

MY SPOUSE AND I ARE UCF ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEMBERS AND LETTERWINNERS, DO WE BOTH GET PRIORITY POINTS?

Priority Points are awarded per account. If you donate jointly, you would only receive 10 Priority Points as a Letterwinner and 5 as an Alumni Association Member. If you donate and purchase tickets independently of each other, then each of you would receive Priority Points because you have your own account.

WHEN CAN I SELECT SEATS?

In March 2007, "ticket selection appointment times" were assigned and mailed to each donor/season ticket holder. All current season ticket holders have selected their seats. The seat selection process is now open to the public.

HOW MANY SEATS CAN I PURCHASE?

There is no limit on how many tickets may be purchased in non-priority seating areas. However, your contribution level will determine quantity and location of seats in priority seating areas. Refer to the "Maximum Tickets Within Sections" chart in the priority seating brochure.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY SEATS?

The Athletic Department will review individual situations and the overall seating allocation process every three years. You will have the option to keep your seats for three years providing that the necessary level of giving to UCF Athletics is maintained during that time.

DOES CONTRIBUTING AT A CERTAIN DONOR LEVEL GUARANTEE SEATS IN A PARTICULAR SECTION?

Every effort will be made to accommodate you within the area corresponding to your annual contribution level. However, if demand exceeds supply, you will need to select seats in a different section.

HOW CAN A GROUP PURCHASE TICKETS AND SIT IN THE SAME SECTION?

Individuals with varying Priority Points wanting to sit together as a group can select tickets together. However, the individual in the group with the fewest Priority Points will determine seat location.

I AM NOT A CURRENT FOOTBALL SEASON TICKET HOLDER BUT I DO MAKE ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO UCF ATHLETICS. DO I RECEIVE PRIORITY POINTS?

Yes. Donors who are not ticket holders but who are interested in ordering 2007 Football season tickets, should contact the UCF Athletic Ticket Office at 407-UCF-1000 or by emailing tickets@mail.ucf.edu.

CAN I PURCHASE A PARKING PASS?

Preferred parking passes for donors will be available for purchase for Football and Men’s Basketball. You must be a season ticket holder in the given sport to receive preferred parking for that sport. Unlike previous seasons, donors will not be allocated additional parking passes by providing multiple donations. The entirety of your contribution will determine pass availability.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED FROM MY PRIORITY POINTS GO?

Aside from Club Seats and Luxury Suites, GKC gifts generated through the Priority Points Program will be used to pay expenses associated with the annual operations of UCF Athletics such as scholarships, medical and travel expenses, team uniforms, etc. and not construction of the Stadium or Convocation Center.

IF I INCREASE MY ANNUAL GIFT AMOUNT, WILL MY SEATS BE UPGRADED?

Seating improvements will be based on the Priority Points seating plan. If seats are available in the requested section, the Athletic Ticket Office will make every effort to fulfill your request.

HOW MANY SEATS ARE AVAILABLE TO NON-DONOR TICKET HOLDERS?

Approximately 50% of the seats will be available for purchase by the general public and will not require a separate contribution to UCF Athletics. However, in Priority sections seats are available for purchase with a minimum annual contribution of $100.
